Bike Bus Terms & Conditions
Either the buyer or seller can book the Bike Bus for motorcycle transport. Either party can be responsible for payment of the transport costs. Whichever party you are, if you are satisfied with the quotation you receive from the Bike Bus and you decide to book the Bike Bus to transport your bike, you are entering into a contract. The Bike Bus agrees to collect and deliver your bike and you, the customer, agree to making full and final payment either on collection or delivery, or for trade customers, within the stated number of days. The Bike Bus requires to know, at the time of booking, which party is responsible for payment and which method will be used.
The Bike Bus undertakes to fulfil the contract to the best of its ability - ie, to meet any date, day or time restrictions imposed by either party (buyer or seller) providing these restrictions are made known at the time of booking. While every effort is made to meet this criteria, the Bike Bus asks customers to consider factors outwith the control of the Bike Bus, such as traffic, weather, safety and vehicle limitations and legal speed limits. If the Bike Bus cannot meet any target dates or times due to any unforeseen circumstances, the Bike Bus is not liable to pay any compensation or offer any full or part refund. If there is any known possibility of the Bike Bus failing to meet date or time targets, the customer will be informed at the booking stage, and may choose to proceed with that knowledge or cancel the contract straight away. If this situation does occur, the customer is not liable for any cancellation fee nor is the Bike Bus liable for any compensation payment to the customer.
The customer will be liable to pay a cancellation fee in the event that they choose to cancel the contract once the Bike Bus has made undertakings to collect the bike. IE if fuel and time has been spent in an attempt to collect the bike before a cancellation is issued by the customer, the Bike Bus reserves the right to charge the full fee.
Payment can be made using Bank Transfer or cash. Either the seller or the buyer may pay, but the Bike Bus requires to know at the outset, who is liable to pay.
Quotations for work may be made via Email, Facebook Message, Text, Phone Call or Face to Face with a member of the Bike Bus Team. The customer may accept the quotation using any of the same methods. Once the customer agrees to making the booking, then all of the above terms regarding payment will apply.
In all instances (trade or private), failure to pay within 30 days may result in late payment legislation being implemented and legal action being taken.
